Highlights

Work with text where it already lives

Highlight text in the current app and trigger TypeBoost without copying content into a separate chat window.

Make the prompts your own

Create reusable instructions that match the tone, transformations, and writing tasks you repeat most often.

Stay in flow

A keyboard-driven workflow keeps AI assistance close without adding another destination to your process.

Use an AI writing assistant inside any Mac app

TypeBoost brings AI writing actions to the text you already have open. Select a passage in the current Mac app, press the keyboard shortcut, and choose the action you want to apply without moving the draft into a separate chat window.

The result returns to the same writing context, whether you are working on an email, document, social post, support reply, or another text field. That removes the repeated copy-and-paste loop between the place where you write and the tool that edits the text.

Turn custom AI prompts into reusable actions

Instead of explaining the same instructions every time, save the prompts that already work as named actions. Each action can represent a specific writing rule, tone, structure, audience, or transformation that you use repeatedly.

TypeBoost can support a different prompt for polishing an email, shortening a paragraph, translating a draft, fixing spelling and grammar, or preparing a post for a particular platform. You decide what each action should do and can adjust it as the workflow changes.

Edit selected text instead of starting over

A writing assistant is most useful when it can improve the part that needs attention without replacing the entire draft. TypeBoost works from the selected text, making focused rewrites and corrections possible while the surrounding work stays in place.

That approach fits both short and long-form work: clarify one sentence, tighten a sales email, reshape a LinkedIn draft, or turn dictated thoughts into cleaner text. The action starts from your words and a prompt built for the specific task.

Keep writing actions close to your workflow

The keyboard-driven interface keeps saved prompts available without adding another destination to your process. TypeBoost also supports voice input, giving you a way to capture an initial thought and apply a familiar action while staying close to the app where the text belongs.

Prompt templates provide a starting point for common writing jobs, while custom actions make the toolkit personal. TypeBoost is available for macOS and iOS, with the desktop workflow centered on applying those actions inside the apps you already use.
